What
is an Online Statement?
An online statement is an electronic version of your regular paper bank
statement.
How
do Online Statements work?
You'll receive an email that notifies you when your Online Statement is
available. Then, at your convenience, sign on to Internet Banking to view
your Online Statement.
Are Online Statements secure?
Security is one of the many benefits of Online Statements. Only you can
access your statements through the security of Internet Banking. Online
Statements also eliminate the possibility of statements being lost or
falling into the wrong hands (fraud).
How do I sign up for Online Statements?
Visit a Personal Banker at any MidAmerica National Bank location.
Will I receive Online Statements for all my accounts?
You will receive Online Statements for the MidAmerica National Bank accounts
for which you sign up to receive Online Statements.
Is there a charge for Online Statements?
No. Online Statements are free!
What if I would like to receive paper statements along with Online
Statements?
There is not an option to receive paper statements and Online Statements
simultaneously.
How do I view my Online Statement once I receive my notification email?
Log on to your Internet Banking on www.midnatbank.com. At the top, click
on "Products & Services." Under the section for Online Statements,
use the drop-down menu to select the account for which you wish to retrieve
the statement. Click "ENTER." A window telling you that you
will be connected to another secure site will appear
click "OK."
Now, click on the date of the statement you wish to retrieve. A window
will pop up telling you about Adobe Acrobat Reader. Click "OK."
A window will appear asking you if you wish to open or save the file.
If you would like to just look at the file and print it, click "OPEN."
If you would like to save the file to your computer at this time, click
"SAVE."
When will I receive my Online Statement notification?
One of the many benefits of Online Statements is you will receive your
bank statements faster than waiting for mail delivery! As soon as your
Online Statement is ready each month, you will be notified via email.
What if my email address changes?
Just call us! You can speak to a Customer Service Representative by dialing
1-877-647-5050. You may also email us your new information at online@midnatbank.com.
What if I forget to notify the bank of my new email address?
Your statement would still be available through Internet Banking, but
you would miss the notification email if we didn't have your correct address.
Can I print my Online Statements?
You may still print your statement, just like you would print any other
document from your computer.
How long is my Online Statement stored online?
Three months of statements will be retained.
Can I view check images?
Yes, you may view check images online. If you have MidAmerica Classic
Checking or MidAmerica Classic M-Club Checking, your check images will
appear on your statement. If you have MidAmerica Free Checking or MidAmerica
Free M-Club Checking, you can view check images through Internet Banking.
What should I do if I need copies of statements or cancelled checks
from before I enrolled for Online Statements?

Can I cancel Online Statements and go back to paper statements?
Yes, you can cancel Online Statements and go back to receiving paper statements
if you choose. However, if you are a MidAmerica Free Checking or MidAmerica
Free M-Club Checking account holder, you are required to have Online Statements.
Can I have my Online Statement notification sent to more than one email
address?
Yes, you can. We can send it to up to 3 different email addresses.
Will my Online Statement look the same as my paper statement?
Yes, our Online Statements will look the same as our paper statements.
Do I need any special software to view my Online Statements?
No. Access to your Online Statements is available on any computer with
Internet and email access. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view
PDFs. If you do not have Adobe Acrobat Reader, click here
for a free download.
Will I still receive
year-end tax statements?
Yes, any end-of-year statements will be mailed out.
Why are you encouraging
your customers to sign up for Online Statements?
Several reasons. First of all, MidAmerica National Bank is supporting
the initiative to "go green"... and by not printing paper statements,
we will save more trees. Second, Online Statements are more secure (no
paper statement in the mail box means less risk of identity theft). And
finally, we believe our customers will find Online Statements to be more
convenient as they are faster and can be stored online for several months.
