Online Banking is a product that allows you access to all of your MidAmerica National Bank accounts through a secure website. You can view your checking and savings account statements, available balances, loan balances and much more. You can make transfers between accounts, including making loan payments. With check imaging, you can view and print the front and back of your checks for research and legal proof of payment. And with our Online Bill Pay option, you can pay anyone from the comfort of your computer.
Can I see what Online Banking is like without signing up first?
Absolutely! Simply stop by and get a one-on-one demonstration of Online Banking and/or Online Bill Pay at one of our banking centers! Just ask for our Customer Service Department. The demonstrations are only available at our main banking centers in Canton (100 W. Elm Street) and Macomb (130 N. Side Square).
If I open a new account with MidAmerica National Bank, do I have immediate access to Online Banking?
No, you will have to fill out an application so your account can be set up for Online Banking, and your initial passwords can be set up.
How do I sign up for Online Banking?
In order to sign up for Online Banking, you will need to complete the Online Banking Application. Complete the fields with your information. Call our Customer Service Department during banking hours at 1-877-647-5050 if you have any questions.
If you wish to apply for Online Bill Pay as well, simply do not check the box at the bottom of the form that says, "I do not want to use Bill Payment."
After you complete all the fields on the Online Banking Application, click "continue." The information you entered will appear on a new web page... review it for accuracy. Then, you must print this page from your computer, sign it and return it to us. Even if you click "continue" at the bottom of the confirmation page (underneath the spot for your signature), your application is not yet complete until you get us a copy of the form you printed and signed. We need to have your signature on file.
If you do click "continue" at the bottom of the confirmation page, please remember the password you set up. This will be the password you use the first time you log on to Online Banking.
You may send your signed Online Banking Application to us in several different ways. 1) Drop it off to us at any of our banking centers. 2) Mail it to: MidAmerica National Bank Customer Service / P.O. Box 310 / Canton, IL 61520. 3) Fax it to: 309-647-8178. 4) Scan it and email it to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
When can I sign up for Online Banking?
You may sign up for Online Banking anytime. Once we receive your signed enrollment form, you will have access to your account in no later than three business days. You will then have access to your account 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
What do I need to connect to Online Banking?
You need four things to access Online Banking: 1) Internet access, 2) Our web address: www.midnatbank.com, 3) Your username, and 4) Your password.
Where do I have to be to connect to Online Banking?
You can be anywhere in the world with Internet access.
Why would Online Banking be a good choice for me?
Online Banking and Online Bill Pay allow for easy access to all of your important account information. It allows you to manage your account balances, view checks, and pay anyone quickly.
What about security?
Security is very important to MidAmerica National Bank. Customer information is held behind secure gateways and firewalls. When viewing your information you will be able to see it behind the latest SSL technology. Information is also sent to us in encryption. Security, however, is a customer's responsibility as well. It is important that you trust your Internet access device (this means that you only open trusted e-mails and that you keep your anti-virus updated). Do not share your password with anyone.
What about my privacy?
Is there any way someone could access my account information by having Internet access?
No, the information is secured and you will have your own password. You do have to enter the password each time you sign on. If entered incorrectly four times, you will be locked out and will need to contact our Customer Service Department.
Can I view my check and ATM/Debit card transactions online?
Yes, you can view the date of your transaction, where it took place and the amount.
Can I export to Microsoft Money or Quicken?
Yes, you may export account register information into Microsoft Money or Quicken.
Are there any limits on how much I can transfer at one time in Online Banking?
Yes, there is a maximum limit on your application. You are asked to choose the dollar amount. We will then set your limit to the amount you specified. The program will not let you transfer more than that limit at one time. However, you may go back in and transfer as many times as you would like.
How does Online Bill Pay work?
Through our secure website, you authorize our third party bill pay processor to electronically debit your checking account the day you selected the payment to be processed and forward the payment amount to the payee. The payment will be sent electronically or by check. If sent electronically, the payment may take up to three business days to be paid. If sent by check, the payment may take up to five business days to reach the payee. With Online Bill Pay, you can also download payments to Quicken®, MS Money® and text or CSV format. Previously downloaded payments are marked online to avoid duplication.
In order to enroll in Online Bill Pay, you must first have Online Banking with MidAmerica National Bank. Once you have established Online Banking, signing up for Online Bill Pay is as easy as logging in with your username and password and clicking on "Bill Payment" at the top of the screen!

What is an eStatement?
An eStatement is an electronic version of your regular paper bank statement.
How do eStatements work?
You'll receive an email that notifies you when your eStatement is available. Then, at your convenience, sign into Online Banking to view your eStatement.
Are eStatements secure?
Security is one of the many benefits of eStatements. Only you can access your statements through the security of Online Banking. eStatements also eliminate the possibility of statements being lost or falling into the wrong hands (fraud).
How do I sign up for eStatements?
Visit our Customer Service Department at any MidAmerica National Bank location.
May I receive eStatements for all my accounts?
Yes! Just let us know which accounts you would like to switch to eStatements.
What if I would like to receive paper statements along with eStatements?
There is not an option to receive paper statements and eStatements simultaneously.
How do I view my eStatement once I receive my notification email?
Log on to your Online Banking on www.midnatbank.com. At the top of the page, click on "Additional Services", then "Products & Services." Under the section for Online Statements, use the drop-down menu to select the account for which you wish to retrieve the statement. Click "ENTER." A window telling you that you will be connected to another secure site will appear… click "OK." Now, click on the date of the statement you wish to retrieve. A window will pop up telling you about Adobe Acrobat Reader. Click "OK." A window will appear asking you if you wish to open or save the file. If you would like to just look at the file and print it, click "OPEN." If you would like to save the file to your computer at this time, click "SAVE."

When will I receive my eStatement notification?
One of the many benefits of eStatements is you will receive your bank statements faster than waiting for mail delivery! As soon as your eStatement is ready each month, you will be notified via email.
What if my email address changes?
Just call us! You can speak to a Customer Service Representative by calling 1-877-647-5050. You may also email us your new information at email@example.com.
What if I forget to notify the bank of my new email address?
Your eStatement would still be available through Online Banking, but you would miss the notification email if we didn't have your correct address.
Can I print my eStatements?
You may print your eStatement, just like you would print any other document from your computer.
How long is my eStatement stored online?
Three months of eStatements will be retained.
Can I view check images?
Yes, you may view check images online. If you have MidAmerica Classic Checking or MidAmerica M-Club Checking, your check images will appear on your statement. If you have MidAmerica eChecking or MidAmerica M-Club eChecking, you can view check images through Online Banking.
What should I do if I need copies of statements or cancelled checks from before I enrolled for eStatements?
Call a Customer Service Representative at 1-877-647-5050… we'll be happy to help you.
Can I cancel eStatements and go back to paper statements?
Yes, you can cancel eStatements and go back to receiving paper statements if you choose. However, if you are a MidAmerica eChecking or MidAmerica M-Club eChecking account holder, you are required to have eStatements.
Can I have my eStatement notification sent to more than one email address?
Yes, you can. We can send it to up to three different email addresses.
Will my eStatement look the same as my paper statement?
Yes, our eStatements look the same as our paper statements.
Do I need any special software to view my eStatements?
Access to your eStatements is available on any computer with Internet and email access. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view PDFs. If you do not have Adobe Acrobat Reader, click here for a free download.
Will I still receive year-end tax statements?
Yes, any end-of-year statements will be mailed out.
Why are you encouraging your customers to sign up for eStatements?
Several reasons. First of all, MidAmerica National Bank is supporting the initiative to "go green"... and by not printing paper statements, we will save more trees. Second, eStatements are more secure (no paper statement in the mail box means less risk of identity theft). And finally, we believe our customers will find eStatements to be more convenient as they are faster and can be stored online for several months.
