What to Bring to Open a Business Account

All new business memberships, regardless of business type, will need the following:

  • Business Tax Identification Number (Employer identification number or social security number)
  • Personal Identification for each owner and signer on the account (Current driver’s license or state issued identification card)

In addition to the above, depending on your business type you will need to provide the following:

Sole Proprietorship or General Partnership
  • Assumed Name Certificate (DBA) OR Business License OR Sales Tax License OR 2 Years of Business’ Tax Returns
Limited Partnership (LP), Limited Liability Partnership (LLP), or Limited Liability Limited Partnership (LLLP)
  • Partnership Documents OR Business License OR Sales Tax License OR 2 Years of Business’ Tax Returns
Corporation (S-Corporation, C-Corporation or LLC)
  • Articles of Incorporation OR Business License OR Sales Tax License OR 2 Years of Business’ Tax Returns
Non-Profit Organizations
  • Articles of Incorporation OR Articles of Association OR Business License OR 2 Years of Business’ Tax Returns
  • Meeting Minutes
