The October M-club trip to Moline IL turned out to be a sunny, crisp 60-degree day, perfect for our M-Club travelers to set sail on the Celebration Belle Riverboat Cruise. On the bus trip to our destination, the travelers formed a comradery as they played some rousing games of bingo and attempted to win the “Special Mystery Prizes”.
Upon arrival at the pier, we boarded the ship and settled in. As soon as the ship left the dock, we were served cinnamon rolls and fresh fruit. We then roamed the ship to view the sights along the river, browsed in the gift shop, and listened to the Captain as he explained some interesting facts about river travel.
Our scrumptious lunch buffet was served and then the entertainment began. A husband & wife duo sang songs from the Juke Box era, got people out of their seats to dance, and even got a couple of our travelers on the dance floor to be part of the Village People! It was a very entertaining show.
We then headed home with more games of bingo as travelers vied for their own “Special Mystery Prize”. This Cruise was a very fun trip and it concludes our 2019 travel schedule.
